Exceptional Lives & BRAF Launch New Website for People with Disabilities

The most recent launch of Exceptional Lives Louisiana was featured on WVLA Local33 | WGMB Fox44 on August 9, 2017. In partnership with the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, Exceptional Lives Louisiana offers families and caregivers of people with disabilities easy-to-understand, actionable information and support.

Below is an excerpt from their report:

“Our son is 17 years old, and when we were diagnosed, we had to go about the city to find the resources that were needed for him and decide for ourselves what was right and what was wrong. Hopefully, with the website this information will be readily available. We’ll have access to providers that will enable the care to come more quickly and more efficiently,” said Stephen Whitlow, a parent and the founder of Gateway Transition Center.”

Here’s a look at the Exceptional Lives segment, highlighting one Resource Directory user’s experience, our site’s online tools, and growing relationship with those in the Louisiana area.
