The event will be co-faciliated by Amy Hubert Masferrer, Esq. and Katie Emanuel, BA—two parents of children with special needs.

Amy is a mom, attorney, and trained educational advocate who regularly volunteers at the Federation for Children with Special Needs‘s legal aid call center and privately advises clients through the IEP process, eligibility, and placement disputes.

Katie is a mom and graduate student pursuing a Masters in Special Education at Eastern Nazarene College. Katie has dedicated her career to supporting children with special needs and their families. She authors the blog, Wonderfully Made Living and is a web content specialist & guest parent blogger for Exceptional Lives.
